Objective:
- To stimulate curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking among students.
- To provide a platform for students to explore and demonstrate scientific concepts through experiments and performances.
- To promote environmental awareness and the application of science in real-life situations.
Activity:
- Welcome Speech introducing the purpose and goals of the Science Club.
- Speech on the scientific phenomenon of Refraction of Light explained through real-life examples.
- Live demonstrations of science experiments including a volcano model, lemon battery, density tower, and air pressure rocket.
- A shadow puppet shows titled “Save Earth” to creatively depict how light and shadows work.
- Performance of a science-themed song “The Wonders of Science” by the school choir.
- Screening of a student-made awareness video on “Climate Change and Sustainable Living”.
- Vote of Thanks appreciating all contributors and participants.
Outcome:
- Students gained hands-on experience in conducting and explaining scientific experiments.
- Enhanced understanding of scientific phenomena like refraction, air pressure, and chemical reactions.
- Improved communication and collaboration skills through group activities and presentations.
